Donors of the Virginia Memorial Quilt Project

On Saturday, December 1, 2007 I received a white envelope. The front of the envelope had the initials of VMQP. I opened the card and inside was a Christmas Card and a note.

It told of a family who saved their money, and had a goal of Thanksgiving to pool it together. Someone from the family would count and roll the change. The money from the combined change of this family is given each year to a charitable organization. The person who rolled the change selects the group.

This year, this wonderful and generous family made a $300.00 donation to the Virginia Memorial Quilt Project. We are truly blessed with this gift.

Thank you to our special donor family! Each person helped to make this donation possible.
